5 Bible Verses to Help you Connect to Your Worth

In this world we can forget our worth if we are not vigilant and focused on love. This is part of being human. The world we live in has darkness that can dim our light if we believe it. We are so powerful and if you found yourself listening to anything other than love, ask yourself why you believed the lie for so long. It is time to see and believe your worth, because we are His children and carry His light.

What is worthiness?

Having or showing the qualities or abilities that merit recognition in a specified way.

Worthiness is having value and being of quality. It is knowing you are worthy of recognition. You are worthy of recognizing yourself simply because this is your experience. You are the only one who lives in your head with your unique perspective, and it is worthy because we came from God. We are God’s children and He made us in His image. We are perfect, clean, and worthy of love. Nothing can take this away from us.

How can I connect to worthiness?

We are his treasure and we did nothing to deserve this, so we cannot do anything to lose his love. We were created worthy, therefore we are worthy. We are so loved and anything or anyone that tells you otherwise is not rooted in truth. Let’s take our power back, we are so worthy. Here is how God reminds us of our worth:

“So God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them.” Genesis 1:27

It starts in the beginning when He created us in His image, just like Him. We are a fraction of light. A fraction of His love and we came here to shine because we are worthy of being our true selves and getting all that we love. You came from God so you are an extension of Him. Be firmly planted in faith that you are worthy of the life you want. You are worthy because he made you like Him. This is your truth, so believe your truth. It’s the only one you have.

“Even before the world was made, God chose us for Himself because of His love. He planned that we should be holy and without blame as He sees us.” Ephesians 1:4

We are chosen, so keep your chin up. We were chosen before the creation of the world because we came from Him. We were here before all of it and we will be here after it’s all gone because our Spirit is forever. We came from Him and are made holy in His love. His love is a protection around us because we are worthy of living a life of love and peace. You are chosen, it is time to choose yourself.

“We are preaching what we have heard and seen. We want you to share together with us what we have with the Father and with His Son, Jesus Christ.” 1 John 1:3

We have freedom and love in God and Jesus. He came to show us our power and who we truly are: Children of God. How truly worthy we are. We are free from this world’s suffering. We have our light that came from God and is worthy and powerful. This light can break free from any darkness found in our mind that come with living on earth. Our Spirit is greater than the Spirit of this world.

“For sure, I tell you, a person may say to this mountain, ‘Move from here into the sea.’ And if he does not doubt, but believes that what he says will be done, it will happen. Because of this, I say to you, whatever you ask for when you pray, have faith that you will receive it. Then you will get it.” Mark 11:23-24

I must include faith in our worthiness discussion because without it we would fall flat. You must have faith which means to believe. To truly believe not only in divinity (God’s good presence) but in love and know that you are an extension of that love. When you pray you must believe you are worthy of receiving what you prayed for. Your faith moves mountains. You are worth believing in. This means belief in the love God has for you that is connected to your inherent worth. This is how the seed of worthiness grows. If you feel stuck, pray for your faith to grow deep roots and believe it is already so.

“Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need.” Matthew 6:33

You are worthy of living in His Kingdom and living in joy. A peaceful life is within reach. You are worthy of living in His kingdom knowing you are safe in his protection of love. Worth does not come from the things of this world but from the love you feel knowing you are loved and protected.

It starts and ends with yourself

These really speak to me because they remind me I am His child. This means He made you perfect without fault or sin. He loves you so much and put you here so you can grow, learn, and play. You are so protected in His love. SO protected. Give yourself the love He taught you. You are the truth. You are the light. You do know the way. Remember, without love for yourself you cannot reach your full potential because you are God-like. If you do not like yourself how can you expect others to? It starts with you and seeing your worthiness.
