What are beliefs?

- an acceptance that a statement is true or that something exists.
- “his belief in the value of hard work”
- trust, faith, or confidence in someone or something.
- “I’ve still got belief in myself”
Beliefs are thoughts we think repeatedly that have become true to us. Beliefs become hard to break because they come from us and once that connection the stronger the pattern grows. This means changing a belief that is not in alignment with who you are is going to require some work- not impossible, just more awareness.
Beliefs are awareness. They are consciousness, where you put you attention grows. If you believe you are a certain person who does x, y, and z, it will be hard for you to change unless you open yourself to detach from who you’ve been. You will always have a focal point and thus beliefs will always be.
Your Beliefs are Reflected Back to You/The Universe
The perpetual mechanism of beliefs are to inspire you to choose the same belief over again because the connection wants to stay alive. In other words, the circuit wants to keep running but you have the power to choose something different. A new reality is always possible because you have free will.
If you want to change your reality change your thoughts. Get a handle of the beliefs not serving you. See them floating across your mind and of they are adding or taking away from your life. Thoughts are the definitions you give your life that color your world brightly or gray.
The structure of our existence is a mirror. The universe is a mirror reflecting back to you what we think about ourselves. It is a reflection of what you believe. You think something and the universe says, “Yes, absolutely.” This is how the machine of physical reality/earth works. This is nature. It is the Yin and Yang. The breathing in and breathing out. Constantly creating and destroying. Now that you know this, have the machine work for you in the best way possible for you and for YOUR TRUTH.
How Beliefs are Structured
There are two ways beliefs are structured depending on if they are negative or positive. Negative beliefs go against your natural being and thus have to work harder to be kept alive because the natural flow of things is love. Love is the ultimate truth. This is why positive believes are in alignment and are build on the natural rhythm of life. All beliefs have a mechanism that are reinforcing. Let’s examine both:
Positive Beliefs
Positive Beliefs are expansive and full of love (ultimate truth). They are in alignment with your mind, body, and soul because they go with the natural state of your being. They are true to who you really are and are based on love. This means they flow naturally and are true because they are love. These are great and we want to keep them.
Negative Beliefs
Negative beliefs are more complicated. They have to work twice as hard because they separate and compartmentalize. Them vs me. Black vs White. This is ego thinking. They have to work twice as hard to seem real from your perspective.
Remember we are all one. We all come from Source. This means everything is coming from you and it is all a reflection of you. You are love, so negative beliefs are always fighting the ultimate truth of God, so they take up more energy. There is always a doorway from the dark to light and light to dark. It is a choice. Remember you have the freedom to choose.
TRICKS our negative beliefs use to try and have us keep choosing them:
- The belief makes us feel Fear
- The belief will send fear as the emotion. The belief tells you, you will DIE if you do not choose it. It keeps you in survival mode.
- Add LIGHT: Make this comical and give it light. Laugh at the darkness because it is not scary, it just does not know better. It does not know love.
- The belief seems impossible to change.
- It makes you feel trapped like there is no way out.
- The fear disguise all other choices. It covers the doorway to the light. There is always a way out but your mind uses projection, rejection, and paranoia, so you can avoid all information that can be of help to you by seeing truth in a negative light.
- Add LIGHT: But when you see the truth, you see they are all equal choices. They are all equal beliefs in the sense that they are two sides of the same coin and you get to decide which one is true for you.
- The belief will rewards you for choosing the negative belief.
- The belief will makes you feel safe and good for choosing the safer path/ negative belief.
- Add LIGHT: Remember there is not growth in the comfort zone.
- The beliefs will make you feel tired so you do not act differently and in alignment with your highest self.
- This looks like self-sabbatoage.
- Add LIGHT: Recongnize this trick and go for a quick walk and before coming back with the a clear intention that you came to be your best self and fear is not going to stop you any longer. Now get to work.
DIVINITY
Allow your higher mind to see past the negative belief. Once you know the truth you cannot unsee it. The truth only grows. Divinity means you created it and you can choose something else.
You have free will. You can choose to expand instead of contract. The belief thinks it will die because it thinks you will die if you do not select it. Talk to your fear and say..
“I perfer to choose this..”
“This is my truth now..”
“This is my life…”
Most importantly, thank your fear. Your limiting belief is not true it is just using fear to keep it alive. Focus on the light and give it love. Give the negative belief love. Talk to it. You are safe. I prefer to choose something else but it will not die and I will not die if I choose something else.
You know who you are a fraction of light, you know the truth. You know you are love. We came here to expand by the byproduct of inclusion NOT Exclusion—two sides of the same coin. Our life is coming from us. Our life is coming from our minds. Everything we see is what we believe we are capable of. Therefore observing limiting beliefs is so important.
